Cosán means “path” in Irish, and this cowl is a weaving of paths together.

Each colour path has its ups and downs as it weaves and winds its way from the bottom of the cowl to the top.

This is a simple but effective pattern giving the knitter a chance to dip their toe into the world of colour in projects, with only one colour worked per row.

I-cord finishing makes for a snug, gently-rolled edge which is lovely when worn against the skin.
